Our gardening clubs are open to all abilities, at each session we have specific tasks and activities guided by the season.

Tasks can include harvesting, seed sowing, weeding, painting, maintenance of our tools or general maintenance. Each activity is guided by our dedicated team and friendly volunteers.

This is a free group and no booking is required.

Come and explore wildlife and outdoor fun at our weekly nature based groups for children and their adults.

Enjoy art, crafts, stories, song, growing and making food to share through child led play and learning.

Every Friday, 10 – 2pm.

A weekly group for people with wellbeing needs and open to anyone by referral or self-referral. Activities vary from week-to-week but can include cooking, harvesting, planting, craft making and art therapy sessions. These groups also offer valuable opportunities for socialising.

Windmill Community Gardens offers work experience placements to local students to provide them with an opportunity to gain practical skills in horticulture and sustainable food production.

This program helps students to develop their confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while contributing to the community through their work in the garden.
