PICNIC IN THE GARDEN

We welcome the community to join us at our community gardens for a series of community picnics under our Orchard or nestled among our Forest Garden.

Bring your picnic, craft project or book and enjoy some peaceful time among nature.

There is no need to book, for this free community picnic.

There will be Tea, Coffee, and Homemade Cakes available too purchase.

SUMMER FAIR

At the Windmill Community Gardens Margate to be held on Friday 26th July from 12pm- 3pm to enjoy community garden fun for all the family:

N A T U R E   A C T I V I T I E S : Join us while we explore the wonders of the garden, through nature trails, Foraging and nature crafts.

F O O D  &  D R I N K : Fresh Seasonal Refreshments and an array of delicious homemade cakes. Teas, and Coffees.

G E T – I N V O L V E D : With activities for the whole family, Windmill Art Trail, Bug Hunts, Weaving and much more.

L E A R N – M O R E : Find out about volunteering, our weekly activities for all the family, market stall and veg bag scheme.

B E   E N T E R T A I N E D: We will have a special performers for the whole family to enjoy.

This event is the highlight of the community gardens calendar.

Come and celebrate the growing season and enjoy time at our lovely garden.

This year we are offering the below tickets, we are limiting the number of people at this event due to the capacity of this site, you must purchase a ticket prior to the event as we will not be selling any tickets on the day.

Tickets are £6 ​per adult,

Children under 18 years old are free to enter, a ticket must be booked (FREE) for all children attending.
