Pride Flag making workshop with Conker

Join us on Tuesday 6th August from 2 to 5pm

For this year’s Windmill Community Gardens’ Pride in Nature gathering, Conker Tree will be hosting an afternoon of community craft.

Join Conker at the Windmill Community Gardens in Margate and immerse yourself in nature while creating Pride mini flags. No prior skills are necessary. Feel free to bring your own fabric and appliqués to attach to your flag. Pride in Nature was created to bring like-minded individuals together to celebrate Pride in a warm, welcoming environment, away from the hustle and bustle.

This event is perfect for all skill levels and people. All materials will be provided and there will be accessible materials such as large needles, fabric glue and safety pins to make creating easy and possible for all.

Spaces are free but limited. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop will be held at the Windmill Community Gardens in Margate, a beautiful one acre community garden located in Dane Valley Margate, looked after and cared by the community.

This workshop is a part of the Windmill Community Gardens Community Roots Programme which is a new project which has been funded by funded by Thanet District Council as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and we are extremely grateful to have this opportunity to collaborate with local facilitators and volunteers, to become a Community Hub for learning and wellbeing.
