We’re thrilled to introduce our new Membership program at Windmill Community Gardens in Margate! Over the years, so many of our wonderful visitors have asked how they can support the space they love, we have now launched our membership program.
By joining on a monthly or annual basis, you are directly contributing to the upkeep and growth of our gardens, ensuring they remain a vibrant, welcoming space for the whole community. We’ve created a variety of membership tiers so everyone has the opportunity to get involved and make a difference.

For being a Spring Pea Friend of Windmill, you’ll receive the following benefits:

Summer Salad

As a Summer Salad Member, you will receive all the benefits of our Spring Pea membership plus the following:

Autumn Squash

For being an Autumn Squash Friend of Windmill, you will receive all the benefits of both the Spring Pea and Summer Salad memberships, as well as the following:
- A printed copy of our annual report showcasing the work you’ve helped us achieve over the year.
- A one off veg bag when you sign up full of freshly harvested treats from the gardens.
- Our Heartfelt thank you.
Spring Peas
£60/ year
For being a Spring Pea Friend of Windmill, you’ll receive the following benefits:
- A Windmill Community Gardens Pin Badge, produced with 100% recycled and recyclable plastics that have reached the end of their life-cycle and were destined for landfill or incineration.
- An invite to a special annual event for our supporters and volunteers.
- Stay connected with the latest news, updates, and gardening tips through our informative quarterly Members’ newsletter.
- Have a voice in decision-making processes by being eligible to participate in annual general meetings and having your say on garden projects, and other important matters
- Our heartfelt thank you.
Summer Salad
£120/ year
As a Summer Salad Member, you will receive all the benefits of our Spring Pea membership plus the following:
- A large jar of your chosen produce, such as honey, chutney, or sweet preserved figs. (This is dependent on what is available when you choose to rdeem.)
- Priority access to all of our ticketed events across the year before they are made available to the public. (We will run 4 main events throughout; a Spring Fair, a Summer Fair, a Pumpkin Party and a Christmas Fair.)
- Our heartfelt thank you.
Autumn Salad
£240/ year
For being an Autumn Squash Friend of Windmill, you will receive all the benefits of both the Spring Pea and Summer Salad memberships, as well as the following:
