The Windmill Way

This agreement was co-created by staff, participants, and volunteers as a team, supported by the Appreciative Inquiry process. Like the gardens and the people who care for them, this agreement will continue to grow and evolve over time, with everyone’s shared understanding.

It reflects how we want to work together and the kind of environment we wish to nurture: one rooted in self-care, care for others, and care for the earth. This shared space can only flourish if we each commit to these principles. Please take time to read them carefully, and feel free to ask questions or seek support with anything that isn’t clear.

How does our ticket prices work?

At the Windmill Community Gardens we want everyone to be able to take part in what we do. Some of our offering is FREE, but there are some workshops and events where have a sliding scale on prices. We encourage you to pay what you can afford.

We know that even the lowest amount might not work for everyone, especially those that are on Universal Credit or finding things tight. If that is the case, please get in touch by emailing martina@windmillcommunitygardensmargate.com

No-one should miss out because of money, everyone is always welcome.
